Pop Up Market (June 10-11-12):

A traveling event for vintage lovers, it takes place once a month in historic, abandoned or unknown locations in order to enhance the beauty of these historic districts of Sicily. Tour Catania among mysteries and legends by night, (June 19, 2022):

An evocative night walk among the stories, legends, and secrets of the lesser-known Catania. Starting from the Church of San Gaetano alle Grotte, continuing with the portal of the Church of Sant’Agata al Carcere and its symbolism. It will then continue with Villa Cerami, Via Crociferi and the legend of the headless horse. The last stops will feature Piazza Duomo and the ” Liotru,” the stone elephant with its mystery and magic together, history and legend. “Agatha from Christian Icon to Contemporary Myth” (Tuesday, June 21 at the Museum of Sicilian Knowledge and Mirabilia).

This museum, which is housed in the Central Palace of the University of Catania (University Square, n.2) was created with the aim of enhancing the goods and knowledge resulting from centuries of activity and research at the University. The exhibition, in particular, recounts the different ways of interpreting Saint Agatha between the 14th and 18th centuries through a series of ancient paintings, ceramic objects many other works of art.
